Patrick Keenan
President and Founder of Forged Men’s Ministry. He’s a regular guy with a heart for men’s ministry. Pat is a U.S. Army M.P. Combat Veteran who found Jesus! He loves playing any sport except soccer.
Russ Hutto
Vice President and Spiritual Director of Forged Men’s Ministry. He’s an avid Disc (not Frisbee®) Golfer and music lover! Russ brings 30+ years of church leadership experience, including music and creative design, to the Forged team. He loves Jesus and wants to help men learn to express true hearts of worship to the Lord!
Chris Hannah
Board Events Director and an Air Force Veteran. After 20 years, 3 months, and 22 days (not that he kept count), Chris and his family retired in Brunswick, GA where he spends as much time as he can outside riding ATV’s, trail riding his Jeep, and fishing. Chris loves Jesus and just wants to tell other guys about him.
Brandon Edwards
Board Secretary. As a lifelong resident of the Golden Isles, Brandon enjoys fishing as well as playing disc golf. He loves being outdoors AND he is perhaps one of the biggest nerds you will meet with an exceptional love for Star Wars. Brandon has years of experience in office management across multiple industries and brings those strengths to the organization and communication of the Forged team.
Matt Vaughn
Board Advisor. Matt is a US Navy veteran and Law Enforcemnt Instructor. He proudly states he found the Grace of Jesus Christ through the love of his high school sweetheart. He is also the self-proclaimed pit master of Forged. Matt truly enjoys pouring into men from all walks of life and sharing the amazing love of Jesus!
Matt Hughes
Board Advisor. He is focused on sharing the nexus between living for Christ and a healthy physical/mental lifestyle. He’s a combat veteran with a background in law enforcement special operations. He cherishes time with his family and can be found at the shooting range or running the Sydney Lanier Bridge with his Forged brothers.
Tom Smith
Board Advisor. Tom was raised and educated in Central Georgia. Relocated to Brunswick and raised two children. He is nearing semi-retired life and is a guru of all things pertaining to camping, dental health, and keeping a happy wife!

The FORGED STORY
Forged Men’s Ministry was founded in 2022 by a group of men who love Jesus and want to walk closely with men from all walks of life in their journey to knowing and loving Jesus.
It was born out of another men’s ministry that founder Pat Keenan brought with him from a different part of the country. Though successful, the leadership of Forged begin to feel that God was leading them to forge a new path – one that worked better for the men of THIS area.
The founding board and early leaders in Forged Men’s Ministry come from different backgrounds, represent diverse career journies, and worship in different churches across the community.
While both honoring the past and setting out to blaze a new trail in the Golden Isles, the founding men came together and spent months praying, meeting, and planning for the launch of the very first FORGE, a multi-week bible study that will happen several times a year. In THE FORGE, men are challenged to grow spiritually, mentally, relationally, and physically.
God truly brought together and awesome team, and we are thrilled to walk into the fire with the men of the Golden Isles.
